The bits are from my S1 White Lightning. I am lucky to also have an XB9R Firebolt :)

It's a spruce up of the paintwork on a standard looking machine (with a number of subtle changes internal and external changes).

The reason being a new Alu Tank (replacing the ethanol affected standard plastic one).

Always liked the Buell White Lightnings, Lucky enough to get a test ride at Dock gate 20 in Southampton when they first came out. Favourite colour scheme was the Nuclear Blue one

Massive congrats Boothy - it looks awesome mate and the paintwork looks superb!

I noticed that you have changed the rear brake caliper to a top position - any specific reason for this? (normally the caliper mounts below the swing arm)

I like your mirrors too - was wondering what to do about those and been weighing up bar end vs proper ones. Let me know how you get on.

Hoping we can have a CRK get together soon.

    Cheers
    Jon

Hi Thanks for your email, the brake caliper mounts either at the top or bottom depending on the model, notice in the haynes manual a couple of different types of caliper. The mirrors from ebay think called Trojan !! amongst other things also have them on the CRK Website

Aah very interesting - not seen one with top mount. Wonder why they would chop and change like that.

Bet you are itching to get it out and stretch its legs.

Congrats once again - very jealous!
