Thanks for asking, Joe. Getting there although also coming to terms with what is a new "normal".

Today i had a nice day out around the Bicester area did about eighty miles and it was good. Not cold at all and reasonably clear roads. Just got home and had a nice cup of tea to round the day of.

Thank you, Joe. I feel completely better (in that I'm no longer ill) and have gone from my lowest weight (7st7lb) to within a stone of my previous normal weight (I'm now 10st7lb). I suspect I'm actually at my best weight, in fact, given that I'm not tall, so I'm reasonably happy to stick where I am.

Living life without a colon (without even a ; ;)) can be a challenge, but I'm learning more and more how to manage that. Not quite at the full acceptance stage as yet, but I'll get there. Oh, and one good thing is that the leg/foot problem arising from the operation has fully recovered itself, so no automatic Hondas for me!!!

Tony, I'm SOOO glad to read that you're no longer ill, are at a great weight, and that your leg and foot problem has resolved itself. Whew...no automatic Honda for you. That's a blessing. ;):)

"Living life without a colon (without even a ; ;))" Love that. :joy::joy::joy: The semi-colon joke, that is. NOT that you're living life without a colon........
