here's some good news, reinfection unlikely, long term immunity likely, the virus is slow to mutate. Sounds like we won't be living with this virus forevermore.

I think that's more wishful thinking, given that it wasn't having a major impact until Feb/March......

Ahh, shite, @Wessa. I am very late to this thread and to your post with your tragic news. I'm so sorry to read about now not only your mum but also your father-in-law. My deepest sympathies to you and to your family. Thinking of you during this terribly sad time. :broken_heart::heart:

I came back off holiday from Cannary Islands beginning of Feb, had flu like symptoms for just over a week, was thinking it may have been CV afterwards. It wasn’t, I actually contracted CV in late April, no doubt as I was tested, the only way you will ever know for sure is if you are tested either when you have symptoms or they release the antibody test, until then don’t assume anything.

Well, it seems that the drive through McDonald’s have just reopened in my area, was out and about yesterday and passed two f them, must of been a queue of at least 40 cars down the road outside each of them. How sad!

Same thing happened when KFC opened in Basingstoke - even made the local news. How sad is your life if you're craving that tasteless shite!

We have a rather good KFC here. Definitely not tasteless and the coating is always lovely and crispy. I had one once in Minnesota and it was horrible. Greasy chicken and soggy coating, it put me off KFC for ages after that.
But the best fried chicken I’ve ever had was in South Korea in Seoul. That was absolutely delicious.

I think the one I had in the US was dog. It was certainly dog rough. Seoul has some fantastic food though. If you ever get a chance to visit South Korea you should definitely go. The DMZ tour was really interesting and you could see the North Korean soldiers on the other side.
