Mainly because it is highlighting key worker earnings so MP wages are largely irrelevant, unless you want to politically point score of course :rolleyes:
I also suspect the NHS ward managers and civilian staff have been left off as they tend to be paid far more than the frontline staff ;);)
They also missed off the military, firemen, paramedics, ambulance staff and many other public sector areas but I don't think that was the point of the article :cool:

no, it wasn’t the point of the article (imho) which is why I was cross about the lack of inclusion of MPs, the tangible connections between who the article was written for and their wages... the very top of the manager pay scale in the Nhs is about £100,000 if I recall correctly.

It seems unfathomable in retrospect, that the business continuity planning of the uk doesn’t have repurpose manufacturing plans for these occasions...

My point was that he may have been trying to sell them rather than donate them and wasn’t taken up on the offer as there are a large number of businesses who are donating PPE already, such as the company I work for who are producing thousands of faceshields and giving them to the NHS for free.
I was being sceptical that the reporting was a bit askewed to have a dig at the government again.

Also, 450 visors per day doesn't really cut it. The NHS will be looking for companies that can do many 1,000's per day.

    They are
They are irrelevant and always have been. Who takes any notice of them anyway. The likes of Lily Allen, Steve Coogan etc, etc are just nauseating.
