Many thanks @figwold ..... but, I'm not sure if that wasn't a bit of an ironic, tongue-in-cheek riposte? We were/are on polar opposite sides of the Brexit debate - though I'm pretty sure we'd see very much eye to eye on the fundamental issues, particularly the humanitarian ones, around corona virus and the pandemic.

It would be nice (albeit unlikely) if something positive was to come out of the current situation by way of the UK and the EU seeing that, in reality, little has changed - politically or economically - in terms of the goods and services that we trade and need. An entente cordiale, if you will?

I'll get back to my realistc daydreams now. :D:zzz:

Care home deaths have either doubled or tripled since the introduction of the vaccine.
This is both sad and ironic, apparently 95% of residents have now received the vaccine, but there’s questions to be answered regarding this disturbing development.

It is a disturbing fact, but people in care homes do die. Both my parents were in care homes and both never came home. From my personal experience I can honestly say that most people in these homes have very serious health problems, obviously not helped by the pandemic. From what I have read it takes a few weeks for the vaccine to kick in so it will be a couple more weeks before we can say whether the vaccine programme is having an impact. So not sure if you comments are not a bit premature..

The information is out there on the web,I’m only pointing out the coincidence, like you, I’ve no way of knowing the cause of deaths or the effects of the vaccines.
This is is also the annual peak time for viral deaths, whether it’s Covid or something else.

It's not to others to check everything you say. Provide directly the source, and from what I see it's not exactly what you wrote.
Your writing suggest death happened since the introduction of vaccine. That's not related .

I wouldn’t believe a word you said with your track record, twisting what I’ve said as usual, par for the course.

Vaccination started in care homes around 8th December ,the article published 19th January states that deaths in care homes has nearly doubled.
    What’s your problem?I’m not suggesting anything,but I think you are,aren’t you?

Very difficult to extrapolate any meaningful figures from all the meaningless stats that are daily thrown at us.
Sorry I’m not avoiding your question but if we believe what we were told at the time, the death rate was increasing and is possibly still increasing now.
However I believe that the infection rate is now decreasing, but again the numbers are somewhat meaningless as the information behind the numbers is sketchy and probably designed to keep us in the dark.
