like after every lockdown in any country.. nothing new, nor illogical.
The numbers I'm now expecting are the impact of vaccination. We'll have to wait a bit, but that will definitively give a perspective.

They did seem to do much better than us - though worse than other Nordic countries - in the first wave. But it seems as though they became too complacent and relaxed their behaviour too much in the autumn, with terrible consequences.

They are better than us with 1005 deaths per million vs our 1245. But as you say compared to Norway, Denmark and Finland they are way in front.

We are certainly living in strange times. Not for too much longer, I hope.

Just for clarification, I hope the strange times don't last much longer, not the living!

One of my fave Rush songs, Bastille Day.

For they marched out to Bastille day

Next week we are required to lock ourselves in separate rooms. Then the week after we will need to put bars on our own windows, to stop our nasty impulses taking advantage of us. Seems fair.:(

An excellent tune. It was the first anniversary of Neil Peart’s sad passing just a few days ago.

I think the company will have problems implementing any such ruling. I reckon employment lawyers will make a lot of money.
