Now I come to think of it, I think I still have some 20mm spacers I used on my Hayabusa.
Time to delve into the garage....

Go with what you're happy with.
No point in buying the Speed if you feel it's going to be too tall and heavy.
I swapped from the Tiger Sport to the Speed partially because of the weight and high CofG of the TS.

It's not like the Street is a bad bike, I've ridden much worse.....:D

Yup, the initially I was disappointed until I noticed the TC light flashing like a red light in Amsterdam on payday.
Realised then that the trackday Super Corsas really need a lot of warming up.

Had the first service done last week and the Quickshifter added, but not had a chance to ride it since.
I thought I'd play with the Rider mode, so I've just set it up with ABS as road, Map as Sport and TC off.
    Should be fun :D

I agree on the less is more theory, having seen mates who rode their old 110-120 BHP (Old Tuono & old Super Duke R) bikes really well, and actually got worse on the latest 170BHP versions as the power is hard to cope with on the road especially on a naked bike. When I went 'down' to the 675 STR my riding actually improved as I found it a much more engaging ride, I had a quick shifter on mine & coupled with a very light gearbox action made chasing up and down through the gears fun. At the end of the day though we are all individuals with deferring views, expectations & skill sets so choose what makes you feel happy!
