Yeah, pretty much mended, still have pains in shoulder, knees, etc and the ribs do give me some gip now and again, but managed to lift a Honda V4 engine into a trailer yesterday, so doing alright.
Bike is a write off. Bastards have offered me £5000 minus &£500 excess!!!!
Have asked them to find me a 13 plate America for sale for that price in the UK!!!! :no_mouth: Waiting on them getting back to me. Because it hadn't got a service stamp between 13 and 15, they knocked £300 off the value, just because it only did 1200 miles during that time, still classed as incomplete service history! Twats the bloody lot of them. :confounded:

I think gap insurance is always a good option and it doesn't cost much

Probably another AMerica, just does everything i need, 2 up touring, distance, scratch about without doing silly speeds to get a thrill. Can't see anything else that catches my eye. If a Rocket Touring in decent condition was to come my way, maybe, but depends on how much I get from the robbin 'MCE' feckers and whats around at the time.

You soon find out why MCE are the cheapest !!!! Pay peanuts, get monkeys !!!!

Unfortunately we only find out how good an insurance company is when you need them.

If they were all be rated by customers a lot would go to the wall.

Might be worth negotiating with the insurers to get your bike back and use for spares if you are going for a similar bike.
Make sure you keep to a good discipline of daily stretching to help you get back to full mobility.
