Featured Cassington Bike Night.

Hahaha! I think my husband would agree. That said, I'm with you on how we treat our bikes and also with NOT eating those squeam-producing swine parts! And I'm with you on our bikes freeing us, too. These days we surely need that. Well, the martinis help a bit but I'd rather (and more wisely) rely on my motorcycles for my daily therapy.

 

Well, Ron, you do reside in "the Pits of Hell". I'll let you draw your own conclusions. BTW, the Pits of Hell does not come up on a Google Maps search. I've never thought I lived in the Pits of Hell but....maybe?? I live in southern AZ where the temps regularly hit 105-110 in the summer. And I have two Harleys (hardleys?!) in addition to my beloved Speed Triple.

 

Hey Ron, yeah, I'm learning about this group! Actually, I'm not on many forums (another Triumph one and a couple of H-D ones) but this one definitely has the best "vibe". More like a community than a place to vent or a place to just ask the occasional question. Cool that you've connected by phone with Bad Billy and Dozers Dad.

Western PA, eh? I'm guessing that's not quite the Pits of Hell but I do sometimes think the little town in which I grew up in southern MN was. Don't tell my brother who still lives there than I said that!

My Speed Triple RS is a 2019. I traded a 2016 Thruxton R for it. Prior to that I had a 2012 Thruxton. I did a Keith Code Superbike School two-day camp and it was all over. Came back and bought the Speed Triple a few weeks later. I love that you saved "your girl", Scarlett, from the salvage yard. I know our bikes are machines but I'm pretty sentimental about them nonetheless. That Laurel and Hardy pic is priceless! I'm going to attach that to the Sunday ride e-mail for the weekly ride I organize.

It is very rare that I agree with you @Ron Ashurst .... but black pudding or pig scab as DD so beautifully described it, will never make it into the BB menu mate.

 

See that’s where you get it all wrong. You shouldn’t sully glorious bacon with bloody plants! If you are going to put anything with it it should be sausages and a fried egg.
