    Do you mean a trike ? :D:D:D

Sorry, I'm currently quite stressed because it's my first time, but that's not going to stop me. I just need to chill and wait for this blow over ! And soon... Back on black (bonneville)!

Meant to say, you can argue Gamers, Scouts or Expats have strong communities, nothing like the support you get from fellow bikers. Now that's impressive.

Thanks for the advice @littleade I think I have all the information I need.
I have just been contacted by a law firm informing me ( i forgot) that every carol Nash policy comes with a lawyer's assistance to help you during the process. Good surprise.

I will post here the "what happen next" of my case. Hopefully someday it will help someone. There's a gold mine of advices and tips in this topic.

@Red Thunder : One good surprise:

I am (so far) not responsible for the accident. ( and I should not be ).

I don't know if it depends on it, but Carole Nash had some lawyers call me, they are now in position of my file and will do their best ( i suppose) to help me. I will not have to pay for this, it's part of my policy. ( is it for every single one ? )

Sounds like you may not be sure what position you are in at the moment Sam !!
Just get them to clarify your position and what is happening regards your claim

The fault is being processed and decided today apparently, the papers have been sent (illustration of the accident, declaration of truth etc... ) and I also was requested to send screen captures of my phone where the third party is telling (texting) me she told the cops, me and the insurance it was her fault.

I'm not sure because the only thing I have to do is sit and wait, no need to call them for now.

Hi Sam, it just struck me. You said you had a minor oops a few days before this big one. I just hope that you haven't mentioned this to the insurers as it might just prejudice your claim if 'they' come back with "your bike was not repaired properly".
    Chill bro and nil desperandum

Thank you all for your replies, and thank you @Sceptic Al for your concern. No I did not. And even if I did, I used a professional service, so surely then, the mistake could be theirs but not mine.

I had my insurer on the phone ( they called me ). Plantec is the name of the company actually dealing claims. Carole Nash is basically more of a sales company. My bike is going to get picked up, sent a to an "approved repair service", estimated, and then we'll see. In the mean time, when the bike is getting picked up, another one is getting delivered. And I get a new helmet ( cheap but ece ) that I can keep. Always good to have a spare.

This is also for @Red Thunder so my experience can benefit an eventual need for a claim, may this never happen. ( we both are at carole nash )

That's great, I only mentioned it as a buddy of mine had a minor knock followed by something much worse and because of the minor knock the insurance company of the offending driver started to bugger around and try to say that the repairs from the first accident could have been a contribution to his clients accident. the whole lot a are bunch of scheming shysters. Best of it is that you are obviously fit and well after the event, only your pride and joy got hurt. hang in there it will get sorted out eventually. Keep calm and have a brew:D

I have two cameras on my helmet o_O
A Drift Ghost HD S facing forward and a Drift Stealth facing back

If anything happens when I am on my bike, I hope to the holy God of biking that it is captured so there is no argument who is at fault, even if it is me I wouldn't be able to argue against it.
As there is also a mic, it will pick up conversations where they admit fault!!

I was involved in a car accident many years ago where a van pulled out in front of me, my (company) car was a right-off but I had a sound recorder on me, so I turned it on, when the copper turned up, the first thing the van driver said to him was "I saw him coming but I thought I had time to pull out - he was going too fast" so while making out I was at fault, he had admitted fault having seen me but pulled out anyway:D I had it all down on tape.

His insurers tried to make out me to be at fault, I sent them a copy of the tape, they admitted liability 100% fault.

I have sent screen captures from my phone where the girl admits

1-saying to the cops it was her fault
2-telling me it was her fault
3-telling her insurance it was "100%" her fault ( and re-phoning them to make sure they got it )
    4-Not signalling
    5-Not seing me

If I'm lucky it should be enough.
