When I was buying my first ever bike I rang 4 Triumph dealers, Jason @Bulldog stood out, he done everything he could to help me buy my Street Twin - great service - take note you snooty, unresponsive, unhelpful dealers your days are numbered. Way to go Jason...

I have to second that. I to dealt with Jason and you could see and feel the passion he had for the marque. But over all the whole shop are warm welcoming and People like Chris Power working on the bike can only give you every confidence that when you ride out of there you feel safe and confident in the knowledge that its right.

I think it’s all down to what you enjoy doing on your bike and what you want to use it for... I just want my Street Scrambler for blatting round the country roads and villages near me for a few hours at a time... when I wanted a bike for motorway and long distance I had a Tiger 800 with a proper screen and all the luggage. I wouldn’t think I’d much enjoy trying long distance on the Scrambler as it’s just not that type of bike so really I think it’s all down to choosing the bike most suited to get the best out of your riding...

An interesting thread! I had long test rides on all of the modern classics last summer. The 900s were all great bikes but the 1200 was disappointing. Great power but I stopped the test and turned back to the dealers at the 25 mile point. I think the engine is rather Harley like and there is almost too much torque in the lower gears. A rough urban road has the thing jerking about unless you are super sensitive with the throttle. That would come of course. The 900 was a much sweeter engine and the T100 so much more engaging to ride.

Harley like? That’s an interesting observation. As a recovering HD owner, I must say I don’t find any similarities between an HD and my T120, beyond the fact that they both burn gasoline!

Thanks I do love it myself and can't wait till the good weather comes back. But the t120 to me was nothing close to Harley sorry got to disagree with Millsy65 And Gazzatriumph I would have like my T120 if it was that good. And it was great for straight long roads sounded great but around town it wouldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding up and down the box all the time. But just my opinions. People love the bike it just didn't suit me.

Yes each to their own. I did try to get on with it but could not. Maybe my bike was set up wrong as I know people love them.

Personally I like the T100, feels more like a Meriden bike than the 1200.

I have had my T120 for two and a half years now and love it .... I have owned approx 40 bikes over the years and I believe the T120 to be one of the very best
