You always buy the right bike, but you can sell the wrong bike!

Point is, you can make your Street Twin individual to you by using T or better still non OEM parts.
That's the beauty of the Bonneville brand of bikes for me.
Don't waste your time moaning and regretting, just do it yourself.

I've only named two inanimate objects. When I talk to my lawn tractor or shovel, the conversation usually starts and ends with 'bitch.' My truck is named Ramona after the character played by Cathy Moriarty in the movie Neighbors (see poster below + it's a RAM truck). She terrorized John Belushi who played a nerd in the movie. Since my motorcycle is a hack, I just kept coming back to Death Cab for a name, because my wife is a cutie (just in case she sees this thread someday). ;) She loves to ride in the car, but hates that name. :grinning: What was this thread about?

Over the short period of time I’ve owned my budget BMW it seems to have collected a ‘discriptive’name. This name appears to be ‘The Barmaid’ at some point more information will be revealed but somebody on here does know more of the tale who also isn’t Irish!!

Update for those who give a poop - fitted handlebar risers, just a 7/8th which is as much as you can get away with on a ST without spending heaps on longer brake lines and its made the ride ride way better for me at least (probably a placebo effect) - Thanks Andy @Bulldog, thanks to the other Triumph forum (shhhh) for directing me to the risers
