My previous bike Gsxr 1000 k6....I was doing 178 and still climbing and another bike went past me. I think it was a BMW S1000RR. I never tried to keep up, I came off the throttle  Oh this was in German Autobahn ;)

When I was in my early 20s, I was caught doing 168 on my Suzuki TLR. It was 1am and the bollocking I received. ....oh boy. I deserved it. It was utter stupidity. The copper had a very long chat with me. He said it is a good thing that I pulled over even though I had a lot of distance. I just saw the blue flash lights and decided to bite the bullet. I knew straight away that I was in deep shit and it was nobody's but my fault. Anyways after a lengthy chat he gave me a caution. I was speechless. I can't begin to tell you how relived I felt.

That was the last time I ever did that kind of speed in UK public roads. These days I do speed in countryside roads but that's like getting close to 100 and slowing down a little to tackle the corner and back on power.

Seriously. ...even thinking about it now 20 years later, I am still getting the shivers. That day if that copper had not shown me kindness, my whole life would have been ruined.

You are right, I should have bought a lottery ticket :(

I make no wonder those poor innocent bike jacking bastards that followed you from the Ace cafe couldn't keep up.
Poor darlings could have got themselves injured!
Now close your eyes and imagine you had seen them come off on a bend, you turn round and go attend to their screaming and broken limbs with a few well aimed kicks and twists of the joints, maybe even position them strategically over the exhaust pipes. Now that is Karma!

Nice one buddy. Now you gotta appreciate the creative mind of yours ;). Brilliant

As for those jackers not being able to keep up....I think it will be fair to say I had the advantage...I know those roads well....it was getting dark...and those bends can close in on you if you are not careful :)
