If you really feel the need to see USD forks at their finest, then check out some pictures of early 125cc BSA Bantams:cool:. (I'd put some piccies up myself from that there Google, but as a fully paid up member of 'Luddites 'r' Us' you'd be better finding them yourself:confused::confused:).

Hey Steve, just for your info the Luddites used to meet in the 'Shears Inn' not far from where I live.
They would have a few bevvies and then go on their machine wrecking sprees.
One of the episodes of 'Sharpe' featuring Sean Bean captured it really well.

Bloody hell, I've just checked out the Bantam forks and yes I do remember seeing the USD forks now.
Everybody seemed to own or have owned a Bantam apart from me 'when I were a lad'

Strange that you should mention oil changes, DD. I did exactly that to my bike last Saturday AND I also changed the oil filter!!!
Does this ability make us Luddites some kind of SUPERSTAR!!??:)
Similarly, the humble pie I had for tea today was a most humble minced beef and onion jobby with GRAVY sauce - the geeks would probably call it 'jus' - on top (with baby potatoes and carrots ... just in case you were wondering.):)

How DID you know to present you theories in this way? Coincidences like this are scary!

Oh, and we are now suitably off topic!! (Black forks > USD forks > BSA Bantams > Luddites > geeks > oil/filter changes/servicing > meat pies etc > strange coincidences. Took some time, but we made it!).

    Our work here is done!:D

    Hi Lcm7lee,

......that's called colour co-ordination......and it beautifully balances the front end......and it hides all those oil splats from the chain oiler!.......

    Cheers,
