Can't argue with that although part of the reason for it is it lifts the bike fairly high which is great for cleaning the wheels working on the chain, sprockets etc.

How high does the Bursig go, can't really tell from the video?

I had the same stand delivered today,,no instructions,,then figured out that the stands wheels had to be removed to fit the dolly,,,then found they wouldn’t line up ,,,emailed company to see what happens now ,,I don’t want to try force it if it’s going to need returning...pissed off doesnt come close.

I found it annoying that the need to remove the wheels wasn't indicated. After I worked that out I found I needed to apply some force to get the pivots in place. Once assembled it works really well though.

Yes I eventually dismantled it and put it back together & replaced the two pins & circlips with bolts,,why it wasn’t this way or instructions included was disappointing,,works great now even on my rough garage floor,

Just got a 2 week old R&G singlesided paddock stand and new PIN6 from bike shop as the guy who brought it changed bikes.
£36 less than a new one. Got front and rear now, but going to keep an eye out for a used Abba stand so I can do shock linkage or take yokes off,

    Hi guys!,

As anyone know if those single stands from 18/21 models is the same size and spec as the recent speed triple 2022?

    Thanks in advance :)

    regards

I believe the pre 2022 model (1050) was 27.5mm but the latest model 1200RS is about 40.5 mm - same as some Ducatis...

So no not the same. WOuld be great if someone could make a sleeve from 27.5 to 40.5mm ....

I might have one from my old ducati left over somewhere for the constands. I swapped the pin out to a 27.5mm one as it saved me buying a new triumph stand.
Lots of different size pins for constands here:

if anyone is interested I have the kit for the ABBA stand, the spindle for the skylift and the Constand single side arm rear paddock stand spindle all for Speed Triple 1050, 18 to 21. Changed my 2020RS for the new model.

Another good thread with the info I need.

I am ordering the Bursig stand tomorrow. Granted there are cheaper options, but with how I like to store the bikes in the garage its going to save me lots of space and is just plain easy to operate and to get the whole bike up for maintenance.

If anyone is interested, I'm selling a brand new Constands Power Evo Central stand/lift, in black.

Cost me a fortune when factoring in the import duty (bloody brexit). It's been assembled but never used. I didn't realise it requires replacing one of the engine bolts which I just don't have the tools for, and have opted for a traditional paddock stand.

Collection only due to the weight of the damn thing. I'm in the Peak District, SK22.

    £150.
