    Hi guys,

Jumped on this a bit late but funny was looking at another myself for actual biking purposes (when I'm healed and feel up to it)

I got a non biker one in the sale for £400 and has been good I must say.

I watched a video somewhere on the interweb that says they have new standard CE approved wax cotton this year for their motorcycle jackets to bring them in line with new requirements. Wil see if I can dig out a link and video.

Agree with the Merlin comments though they look excellent at a great price.

They do a predominantly fashion aimed set of leather/wax and fabric jackets that are on the expensive side and yes are not really for riding in however they do a range of proper grade leather jackets with armour or pockets for armour and they are cheaper and excellent.

    It’s a double edged thing.....
Celeb endorsement is no guarantee of quality but will often influence the price! They don’t come cheap either.
Successful marketing (and that’s what we are talking about) is based on the perception of value I.e. price/performance/quality matches the price. The punter wants to feel he has got a bargain and the vendor wants to maximise the cost/receipt equation which = profit.
Whatever their origins, not all of today’s Belstaff range are bike suitable so much as bike styled. The standard fashion retail mark up is something like 200%.

Having time on my hands recently if you dig round the old interweb there is more than just Sportsbike shop (and youporn ;)) out there.

Some sites like urban rider and cafe racer (something like that) have sign up discounts of 10%. FC Moto currently have 15% off full RRP.

Pornhub also has a wide range to cater for even the most diverse connoisseur. Not though for @Dozers Dad though he's a sick puppy :joy:

Most of what your saying is very true Callumity but it also applies to many other items for sale not least the scrambler 1200 Xe I’ve recently bought which is very nice but £13.000 is a lot for a bike but what’s a man to do? He can keep on saving or buy what he really wants,But I agree your paying extra because of celebrities wearing belstaff which is a shame.
