Battery Flat - All My Fault !

    EML went out after 140 miles yesterday and a few stop/starts as you suggested..

    Have to say, after umpteen Ducati's this is a great bike, the clutch and gearbox are the easiest I've ever used. Doing 70 - 80mph feels just right rather than feeling you should be going faster all the time, love it.

    Turned out to be the battery which was replaced under warranty. Apparently they've had a few from Street Twin and new Bonneville.

    Thumbs up to Triumph Birmingham..

    Reading this I thought you switched the engine off with the run/stop switch and forgot to turn off the ignition switch.
    Reading further it looks like you had the ignition switched off.

    I have never put the start/stop switch in the stop position on any of my bikes.
    The new battery should fix things but there is always something going on with these new electrical systems.
