    Seems to be the way up there, even us posh folk in the hotel didn't get confirmation, I phoned and asked for an email which did arrive. They haven't even asked for a credit card number!!

    I booked over the phone for me and my mate Frank
    Paid half by debit card
    Sure it'll be fine.....if not I'm pretty good at banging fists on tables!:mad:

    The guy seems pretty relaxed, I wouldn't stress. I have paid £30 deposit for the 3 nights, over the phone, no confirmation, not worried. He's well happy we have booked the place out and over 3 nights instead of the usual 2.

    I chased them twice for confirmation of my camp site booking. Still not heard anything from them.

    Obviously us gentlemen and ladies that are stopping at the Cheviot are trustworthy folk as no deposit or card details were required at time of booking when booking direct with the hotel.
    Pay when you arrive you all sound like decent people :yum:)

    True, but the first part of my trip starts next Tuesday (riding down to Rotterdam)
    Been trying to get the Garmin and cell phone all connected up today. Finally succeeded once I'd started to use the correct socket :confused:
