Yes. Imagine you pay for a track day then he shows up and pulls that.

He was on a short leash after VR46 let him go for his conduct. Lucky he got another ride, but now he's untouchable really. No sponsors are going to want go near him now, so end of career.
    Shame, but deserved.

If it was first offence I might agree, but he sat out most of last season after VR46 team sacked him for getting physical with a team mechanic, so he's obviously too thick to learn a lesson.
This latest incident has even made BBC Sport news! If reports can be believed the Italian prosecutor is considering criminal proceedings, possibly even attempted murder. That might be a bit excessive but apparently there has been a previous similar case brought to trial.

I wonder if that "similar case" is Canepa's stunt at Mugello:

According to Wikipedia Canepa was sued over the incident, he went on to compete in world endurance winning the championship last year and is a test rider for Yamaha world superbike

Well he’s been sacked from his current team and dropped from his future team, all in all I’d say he’s f#+#+# himself

I wonder if he'll have to sit out the first 2 races of 2019, as per Dorna's initial penalty
