Not sure if you need a new map with the cans you've put on, maybe that would help with the snatch at low revs.
I've also heard that if you warm it up and then leave it ticking over for 10 mins then the ECU rethinks the mixture, if so, then this may do away with any maps for the new bike.
Must admit I've not felt any snatchy behavior on the std cans.

Aye got the map swapped to the arrows - only done a 100 miles so maybe its more just me not used to her yet. Only one way to sort that!! Once I get the rear tyre sorted!!

It's called "reset adaption", you need to be sure to start engine without touching throttle for it to work. It doesn't change loaded maps but adapts/fine tunes to your engine. I believe it then also "learns" in subsequent miles from your riding style.

    Hi meldy,

Nice to see a local Aberdonian in the forum, did you notice much difference with the new SC Projects?

Looking at getting the S1 low down exhaust for my R when I pick it up when I get home from being away with work. Can't wait, I have been recommended to get my exhaust fitted after the first service

I have been told the pilot sport RS is excellent all round tyre if your tyre isn't fixable, craigston tyres oldmeldrum have a good stock of them or try sillets for a new supercorsa

I note that my 16 Speed Triple S is the first bike I have owned with an electronic throttle vs. cable. I do find the throttle to be "sensitive" to input. I think "snatchy" is a good descriptor. I have grown to love the instant throttle response just as I have grown to respect it. You will sort it out with saddle time. Enjoy guys :).

I installed them pretty much from the off so nothing to compare against really. Apart from the noise Not as loud as my old Street but still superb! I found the standard setup on the demo far too quiet!

Managed to get the tyre sorted at Colin's in Dyce - so we'll see how long they last. The metzeler M7RRs get a good write up so may look at them when it comes time to change!

All the best for your pickup!

I think your right - a few more miles under my belt now and starting to get used to it! Love the effortless power.
