Not I either, I'm spending too much money without the added attraction of it all being in one place!

Went yesterday after a last minute decision as the weather was too poor to do anything at work. Fired up the Thruxton and donned my over suit to keep all the road muck off my clobber and had a blustery, wet but enjoyable run as it was an extremely mild temperature. Great bike park facility in the halls, good clean venue and lighter crowds than the weekend so able to walk around. Saw Steve Parish, Jamie Whitham and nearly met Chris Walker who held the toilet entrance door open for me but he was on his phone!
Saw a Tiger XC in the bike park that had parking lights lit but despite me taking the reg. no. the organisers wouldn't tannoy the halls to alert the owner.
Good wander around everywhere, a few sits and tries of bikes and gear. Confirmed my Thruxton suits me fine and after a picnic lunch outside in the sunshine headed home as it started to rain! Laid low on the tank the rain spikes because of my open face helmet were kept to a minimum and I made good time back before dark. It's about a 2 hour run each way for me. Bike's filthy but hopefully the ACF50 and FS365 are doing their stuff as I did rinse with a watering can of clear water before putting her away.
Great way of clearing the cobwebs and to top it all the bike returned 47mpg at motorway speeds in windy conditions so I'm very pleased after the 38mpg I was getting before Clive Woods set her up for me!

Great show, have lots of pics, the best bit for me was talking to so many real nice people, ( all bikers) from Scotland to Devon. Nice stay at the Ibis Hotel, just dont know why hotels have to have the heating so high!! Showered, breakfast ready to have a wander before catching my flight back. Well worth the visit.

Best of luck with that Steve, she will be licking and nibbling at the stitches, did they give you one of them cone things, it does help to stop that but drives them wrong because they are uncomfortable

Look out for the principal insurance stall. They are giving away a nice motorbike calender with July being the Thruxton

:)Had a good day today, met Charlie Boorman and had a good natter, Explorer is nice but need the middle model minimum to spec it like mine and then it has stuff I don't really need, getting a tad expensive.

Now the new Bonneville range is gorgeous but as I have only just acquired a Thruxton and ridden it twice I won't be parting with any money just yet.
