Hell would have to freeze over and the Devil would be wearing pink Ugg boots before I ever subscribed to a Google service.

So, after enjoying a very pleasant evening in my local bar drinking Afligem then home to cheeses and red wine and a nights kip, we headed off Sunday morning to head south. But before getting any further than about 300 mtrs, stopped off at Annies bar, for a full English breakfast.

Then hit the road at about 9am-ish. From Aigurande, down to La Souterraine and the A20; weather still holding dry. Past Limoges, Brive and eventually Toulouse.

We're now within about 50 kms of our objective and are in fantastic scenery when the heavens opened and pished on us. I got pretty thoroughly soaked but eventually we got installed in our apartment. Then took a stroll around Ax. I can imagine how this place looks when the weather is good, it must be beautiful. However it rained on & off most of the evening.

Found VERY nice resto and I had chunks of wild boar filet with all the trimmings plus some nice splosh.

Tomorrow the weather is supposed to turn good, let's hope so.

So, Monday morning, still a bit wet, but been out for a stroll, coffee, & shopping for the extravaganza which will become Andys home cooked lunch.
