I'm not sure that's always the case as Triumph Leeds (Cobb and Jaggers in old money), strangely at Shipley,Bradford is also a Leeds Ducati dealer. Bizarrely though they have just made their old shop a Kawasaki dealership so no idea what the routine is
I'm in Cheshire, near Wilmslow and Alderley Edge, on the south side of Manchester. Youles is 14 miles from me but takes about 40 mins to get there because I go through Manchester city centre, a very convoluted route but I like the city so enjoy the ride. If you hit the M60 and approach from the north (junction 17 I think) it's much more direct. Where are you? Also, if you fancy taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on Sunday May 21st next year it leaves from Youles carpark. The last time I did it there were 300+ bikes leaving Youles for the 20 mile tour around the city, with the Harley boys acting as self-appointed marshalls stopping traffic at every junction to let the convey through. Quite a sight.
I feel I lucked out in that there is a Triumph dealership here in Omaha, with the main office about 50miles away where I actually bought my bike. Otherwise, I don't believe I would have ever considered a Speedmaster.
I know Winsford. That puts you near J&S. I drop in occasionally, mainly for second breakfast at the cafe or sometimes I carry on to Abbeywood gardens. I was at the Bunker Art Gallery last week, in Beeston. Interesting and unique metalwork sculptures (for sale). I bought a wall mounted helmet stand. Worth a visit if you've not been before.
Yep just down the road from J&S. Next time you are planning a visit drop me a pm and I will pop over for a catch up.
