DD...do jury members get to decide on verdict and also legally carry out punishment while listening to a Maiden song of choice? :D:D

Not that I'm a total psychopath but Would be tempting...

The way it feels the legal system is going in this country, is that you'll get a couple of years in prison, just for being a victim of crime.

'Attempted armed robbery? Why didn't you give the poor unfortunate rascal your phone, wallet, keys, wife and house when he asked!?

'That'll be 3 years in prison for you, plus you'll need to pay emotional support costs to the armed mugger, who I think we can all agree is the real victim here.'

Maybe a bit exaggerated, but it's the way it feels it's going.

Stateside a fair number of motorcyclists that do not or can not carry a gun while riding choose to holster a ballpeen hammer. It is perfectly legal, working on the bike and such, and very effective for social intercourse at bad breath distances. Just a thought and perfectly explainable.

Bike thieves operate with complete impunity in Edinburgh in common with the rest of Scotland. It's well publicised police policy that they won't be pursued when going about their activities unlike speeding but otherwise legal riders/drivers who receive the full force of the law. I believe that Edinburgh scum are pioneers in the field of attacking owners and stealing their bikes.
Nice to know with oil jobs and revenue in decline we've got a growth industry

Those good old justice is long gone. Whilst we might have the latest technology n the luxuries, I think we have lost the most important thing......honour, respect, consideration etc. I have 2 little ones.....the most important thing for me is they grow out to be educated decent human beings n never live a life at the expense of someone else's tears. If I fail to teach the good ways then I've miserably failed in my life.
