Don't worry, it's for a reason, I almost bought a black Thruxton but the guy never showed up when I wanted a second look, 2 days later Doris turned up on ebay, love at first sight and so so much better!! These matches are made in heaven! (Ps nothing against black bikes, I have a friend with one, but my blue is .......

Crispey, I'm in no rush. It actually made me think to hold off for a while and get some funds saved. Both bikes seemed really good deals, thats all.

DSC_0011.JPG The wait is over, for those who are interested. Rode 'Lou' home yesterday, 2004 Speed Triple in Roulette Green, and apart from a low RPM stutter (bike has covered 2800 miles from new) I'm in love . Spent this morning fitting SP Engineering stubby chrome can with diabolus tip. Half the size and weight of the original.

Got it from a guy in Woolwich. Bike was off the road for five years before the last owner bought it.

Thanks guys, I'm really pleased with it. Chiari, I had seen the Roulette Green before but didn't recall it being pearlescent. Looks cool in sunlight.

Hi Peter. When my search started I had a short list and the Speed four was there, along with the Dayona and TT. I missed out on two crackers but didn't find a Speed that caught my eye TBH. Ended up with it's big brother though What part of the county are you in?
