Hi Truxtonrlondon and welcome (I'm new here myself)

Ive had a black T120 Black on order since Christmas and I'm told it'll be here next month.

On Friday I had the opportunity to briefly demo both the Thruxton R and then the T120.

I was staggered by the Thruxton. The forward surge nearly pulled my arms out of their sockets. My last bike was a Ducati Monster 1100Evo and I was in love with the V twin engine, but I reckon the Triumph was much better (I never thought Id say that). For starters, it was enjoyable to ride slow too (about the only thing I didn't like about the Monster). I haven't stopped thinking about the Thrux since, but I'm sticking to my decision on the T120. I think for what I need it will be more practical and easier to live with. It was a great engine too, its just that I got on the Thruxton first and it kinda took my breath away. £2100 more money, but I think its money well spent if a café racer is your thing.

    Congratulations :)

    Roll on June

    Bonz.

I would agree about the slow speed riding with the Thruxton - took in a lot of 30 mph stretches through villages on my test ride and Winchester city centre and it coped really well.
