Got brand new pair of Beowulf exhausts and Beowulf grills and levers and head light covers and tail tidy will be selling the lot I think. They were only on the bike for about 80 miles

Not been refunded yet so will hold off lol. But this last bit was the discs as you know. Spoke to them this morning and said replace the pads and discs or take it back. They said they were not 100% it was the discs, fair enough. But they did not know what was making the judder ? I still say 99.9% discs anyway as not going to replace the discs take it back so they are. But before they sell the bike I think they are going to have to change them or the bike will just end up back with them again. Bottom line I was not going to pay for the discs when it had a warranty. I am in no hurry for another bike as I have bikes and winter is coming up .But I did leave a parting word saying you find out what it is and fix it then give me a call I may buy it back.? It was a nice bike but not going though weeks of bollocks waiting for them to try and find the fault and fix it. I fancy the xt700 but would have to wait till they are a year or 2 old, till I could buy one. I never buy new , year old is fine let some othere numpty take the hit on the price. Have no idea what I will get next . had 4 bikes this year already ( not including two two I keep as my main bikes. I am always open to any bike if I like them and condition and price is right.. might. Look at some KTMs I do Scotland every year hens the XT700. I had the xt660 this year grate fun bikes but just a bit to slow. Loved my tiger 800 with road tyres fitted sold both as usual

I would think a Dealer could have ordered the discs,or swapped them with a bike on the floor then tried them in, just to see if thats actually the problem.
If they wanted to find the answer.
I have no faith, they will cure the bike before they sell it.

But to be fair they are picking the bike up and if they refund me within 24hr. So they say. If that’s the case I can not complain on that service. I just wish they had said from the start we will pick the bike up ASAP and find the problem and fix it and get it back to me. Not we do not think it’s the discs ? Just take it and fix it.

Thats why they get the big money, init?
Insider knowledge on the bike and the ability to fix any issue, with any bike, they sell, and full technical back up from the factory.

Well they did not fix the speed triple . And I know it’s the discs. If it’s an electric fault or engine fault they will know if it’s a common fault. But it’s not rocket science fixing a bike I do 90% of my own work/repairs. They charge big money because someone has to pay for the big show room and free tea. RIP off. They charged £70 for the test ride. Just for the clutch replacement the bill was £350 odd pound. Really. I just put a full OEM clutch kit in my fz1n , bought it from the states for £110 and fitted it in less than an hour. A main dealer will get a clutch kit even cheaper than me. That’s some mark up and they only fitted the plates not the full kit. And half the time it’s not even skilled lads doing the work it’s Just the lackey. Or technician as they call them.

We all know things break or go wrong with bikes that’s not a problem at all. But it’s how Companies fix it that makes the difference. Not just fob people off once they have your money. I found out the last owner said he had a problem with the gear change they said to him it’s the way you ride not the bike.
( he was a new ish rider ). I got the bike clutch was fecked. I have heard some utter shit told to new bikers over the years in bike shops that’s just not true. Do not get me wrong there are some good ones out there but also a lot of bad ones. Trouble is with the big main dealers it’s all sales driven and they make there main money from servicing. And repairs not selling the bikes. Triumph and Ducati are the worst for it in my opinion.

Why didn't you offer them a knockdown price to take the bike of their hands. Do make sure the money is back in your account before you release the bike..
    Regards
    Joe.
