Hope you get it sorted Desmondo, it’s a shame you’ve had to go through a bad dealer experience first, although I think most of us have done something similar

Yes we certainly have and have been caught out by dodgy dealers who don't care a hoot about service just the money they charge. But good that we all know now and put our business else where.
    Regards
    Joe.

My prognosis would be combination of lean (honestly all the Triples are in that off-idle zone) and balance.
The lean condition tends to cause surging - hesitation of response to the throttle which results in a very jerky pick-up - is that what you have?
Balance (or lack of) can exacerbate that.
Balance can be easily addressed, the mapping really needs some custom tweaking via TuneECU but you get make the most of what is has without.

One piece of advice - not sure what fuel you are using - try to not use Ethanol content fuels (at most of the Supermarket type stations) and also don't be sucked into thinking that Premium is better - you get better burn with the octane rating the bike is designed to utilize. That is 95 RON (89 in the USA)

Did the dealer who did your service happen to mention what the spark plugs looked like (or make any comment whether they were sooty or oily or lean or the tips eroded?)
