Great few days away. Me n Dilli had a blast riding up, weather fantastic, riding dukes Pass with AndyC yesterday was a highlight, and a belter of a ride down with AndyC today. Triumph need to build a big V-twin, they are awesome.

Did some silly speeds down the old Carlisle road, next to M74.. Stopped at Wanlockhead on road down, just for the photo.

T-Shirt from Dougie was a nice surprise, thanks. :D

Lou is coming back up in a couple of weeks with some friends and will be doing the whole route,i think i will edit the last days route for him as that road to Loch Katrine was shocking and the start of the Dukes pass wasn't much better,it's not really worth it for the few short miles of good road, I've said I'll try and meet up for a couple of days, hopefully he will get the same weather as us

Just woke up ! Was it all a dream ?
Fantastic sunny weather in Scotland more or less all week, must have been dreaming !
No not really. Got home about 1:30pm, had a cuppa, had a kip.
What a week eh ? Great roads, weather, scenery, beer, food and best of all great fellow bikers to have fun with. Thanks to Dougie, you really put a lot into that and you gave me some laughs (maybe i'll tell more in Wales) and thanks to all who helped in trying to find a mirror. Thanks also to James (Sprinter) in searching out the engineering works so we could get my mirror modified and refitted.

Well what a fantastic trip! Thanks Dougie D for organising the best roads, the stunning scenery & the best Scottish weather. Shame I missed out onThursdays rideout hunting the highlands for new tyres:(
Trip home was pretty uneventful 454 miles door to door (who said you can't tour on a Thruxton R?) I say uneventful, ask Rich about his spectacular dismount from the tiger at the services o_O. Great to put names to faces. Looking forward to the next one.

If you have PowerPoint on your Windows PC, you can also use it to sample down a picture. Insert the picture into a blank page. Right click on it, and select 'Save as a Picture.' Save it as a JPEG (or other format) to whatever folder you want it in. PowerPoint automatically samples the picture for screen resolutions. I just did one and (with no input from me) it took the original photo from ~5.5 MB to 304 KB.
