No not me cos I ain't no dodgy geezer. Checked in to the Balmoral just before 8:00pm and parked the bike round the back where I did notice two bikes with foreign plates. Didn't catch the make though. Had chish and fips from the chippy next door to the Balmoral, they were second to none.

That’s a relief because I didn’t like the look of you at all!

I was there circa 4 p.m. having escaped gardening duties for an hour. Enjoy yourselves. Domestic duties precluded me joining you. Stay safe all.

    Yesterday’s brief highlights:
    - Settle
    - ‘The’ viaduct

About to tour south western Scotland under Rich’s guidance:

“Here’s a list of twenty places in a random order, you sort it out mate I’m a blind f*cker”

So we’ll see you sometime Tuesday

“Oh” says Rich, “I felt so bad yesterday, my trousers kept popping open. I must go on a diet”

At which point the waiter appears with Rich’s TWO cooked breakfasts.

“Well” he says, “it is all-inclusive as much as you can eat”

it's looking good Andy:cool: when you join the A85 at Dalmally keep an eye out for the traffic cops as that stretch of road up to Tyndrum is a favourite for them.
    See you later:)

7FD7FCBB-4686-4E7E-AD99-3D9308018FD7.jpeg So gorgeous day riding round Ayrshire, Dunoon, Inveraray.

Would have been perfect except a BMW S1000 rider we were chatting to on the ferry from Gourock - a really nice guy from West Kilbride - was unfortunate to try overtaking a Mercedes which was fannying around as we left Dunoon. As the limit changed from 40 to 60 he did his lifesaver and turned back to see the Mercedes perpendicular to him as it tried doing a U-turn on a track entrance.

He hit it in a flash and went right over the Merc. He certainly had fractures and is in a bad way.

Two ambulances, two police cars and two hours later the road was re-opened.

Never good, but he's alive. And hopefully he can get a good bike next time, like a Triumph or better still a Tuono:D

We had a fatality this weekend on the Dalveen Pass, one of the local boys, know him by name, but don't think I ever actually spoke to him.

Lots of bikes out and around this weekend, be careful boys, make sure your all there Thursday, I want a good selection to choose from ;), hoping to do better than Dilli, so your luck may be in

My mum lives 1 minute from that last petrol station as your leaving Dunoon.

Two fractures to left leg, taken to Dunoon Hospital and then airlifted to Glasgow.

    Which doesn’t sound great.

On the plus side, a wicked Sprinter-special dinner. Roast beef, Yorkshire potatoes, apple pie & lemon meringue pie.

He needs to open a cafe.

All get airlifted to Glasgow, Dunoon is just a wee cottage hospital. Surprised they didn't just take him straight.

    My mate flies the helicopters.:grinning:
