Hi John here,My newly acquired 93 900 Daytona has a problem accelerating cleanly after it has been idling for a few seconds.Annoying in town.Stripped cleaned and balanced carbs.Pilot screws set at 2 turns. It feels almost like a plug breaking down but i am sure it is carburation.New plugs fitted.Runs perfect until after idling then stutters opening up again. As long as revs dont drop below 2000rpm in traffic she is fine.Any ideas?i have ordered a 90 degree tool as per Rams thread.Cheers.

i would strip and recheck the carbs. there are a few very small holes that are easy to miss. ideally ultrasonic clean and blast through with airline. checked your float heights? also new orings can help as sometimes they leak around the needle valve so petrol still comes in even though float has pushed valve up. also check you havent lost the tiny orings under the carb caps. any needle/jet/slide wear? all this assumes they are mikuni carbs
