Oh no, some more boxes came today

And his OIF tank, luvly, oily

 

Already had some zorsts clips for the underslinging and will make some front brackets out of stainless. Coolness coming along methinks







I actually sat on it making "brrrrrrrrming" noises. And turned the radio off so I could hear me doing it

Yep, better and louder! There'll be baffles in mine - with wrap as well.

 

So, zorsts look good and by golly they do you good. (As long as they aren't too loud.....too loud really gets on my nerves after a while - I have sensitive nerves)
I wondered if, being for a 'taller' engined bike they'd be hanging down but they are really nice.
Needed to sort some brackets - didn't know if the standard T120 TT brackets would fit but I didn't want black ones so opted to make my own out of stainless.
Out with the 20x4 flat bar then



Looks pretty simple. Cut it a bit shorter give it a bend in both directions and...



Stick it in the vice, use the big adjustable to give it a twist or seven and...



The right hand side was a bit more of a bugger though. I thought I'd just make a mirror of the right hand one - nope. The engines sit a bit further to the left due to the spacers so had to bend this one a few thousands times more to ensure it keeps away from the downtube yet bolts in nicely. Glad I used the 4mm bar but really hard to get the bends.





Just give them a polish and looking good.
