At 16yr old a vespa 50, flip over backrest lights mirrors did about 22mph flat out down hill :(

And when I tried one it got stuck in my throat,I had a stiff neck for two days (I know,no hope)

Lovely bike,imo the only thing that is missing is a set of 6" over chrome springers,that would be perfection

hello all,thanks for the reply`s,went looking for relays,gave up and bought a manual found them swopped them over hooray the dipped beam worked...

yes I did then turned it back to the lock position,the headlamp remained on,so I will be playing hunt the relay tomorrow,thank you both :)

well,after me suggesting that,i think I will just slink out the back door with my tail inbetween my legs:D,but thankyou all :)

since you may get flak for that, what I did was to get a thin piece of metal spent about an hour bending it to follow the shape of the inner lever...

yes,the levers are for the Daytona 600/650 2004/2005,no the bit that pushes the plunger isn`t the right shape or long enough but until I put them...

thing is there will be more,as I`m on a learning curve,things were a lot simpler when I was younger and rode a lambretta and a vespa
