    After further investigation there is no spark to No1 cylinder, so changed the coil low tension leads from the middle to No1 coil and got a spark...

    I have not yet shorted across the solenoid but have put a multimeter to both sides of the solenoid, Battery side of solenoid 12.8V Starter side...

    When she's warm its still the same, everything is clean and tight. Tried again this morning and will not turn over at all now, just the solenoid...
