I was tempted to shut the bloody door on her to teach her a lesson. She had the hump anyway coz didn’t let them lick the dinner plates

 

As it was a nice day yesterday I decided to take Archie a long walk,(Left Mickey at home as it would have been too much for him) I hadn’t done this particular walk for several years but remembered it was a fair hike

Brought Archies bowl and bottle of water for him, although he preferred to drink from the burns (Streams)..which i was thankful as i ended up drinking his water as i was knackered!

Stopped of at a Bothy which was just over half way,i was so tempted to have a kip on one of the beds as i was shattered but i knew if i woke up when it was dark i'd be stuck there until the morning and i'd have search and rescue out looking for me.


It's a tradition to leave some food or drink at the bothy for some other weary travellers
I didn't hang about as i had about 7 miles to go and my body was already aching

 

That looks great - is it along some old road?

 

i hope so, cause i can't see me doing that again it took me about 7 hours
i think it must have been about 10 years since i last did it and i was probably at least 3 stone lighter..

 

The pictures probably show the best parts of the track,you woudn't be able to get vehicles on the majority of it

 

What a hike !! but in a beautiful location for sure, didn't expect to see a bus stop sign that remote

The area does look very nice and scenic.

 

Archie could have done it again! i was well knackered though a lot of it was uphill too,15 hard miles just goes to show how unfit i've got since the last time i did it
