Slow Development Of Speed Triple Rs Accessories?

    Is that tube for a chain oiler? If so, where does it release the oil, inside or outside of the chain?

    Indeed, that’s chain lube. Operated by hand, it drips on top of the chain at the rear sprocket. Have one on my blackbird as well, works perfectly. After a (long) trip I just pull the plunger in the last 20 mtr or so.

    Btw: in stead of the expensive osco original oil, I use chainsaw oil.

    I have a loobman, similar design but mine puts the oil on both sides of the sprocket at about the 7 o’clock position then as the sprocket rotates the oil is distributed into the links and “o” rings.

    Agree, I went with R&G, had an issue with the wrong hardware being supplied, so the indicators sit over the cans, will fit them over the plate next week when the new bracket arrives, a tail tidy is essential on these bikes IMO...

    Have also installed the r&g Radiator and Oil cooler guards, triumph front spindle, and frame sliders, and can’t wait to drill out the baffles!

    Interested to know if you ever got the new bracket, I had two supplied and they were both wrong, ended up modifying the second one they sent me, had come up great, but seriously, R&G...never again

    Yeah it sure does make a world of difference. Now, what do you think about removing those passenger pegs and arms;). That makes for a very clean look back there as well. Great looking bike fella.

    Hi Steve, first of all: thanks for the compliments!
    About the passenger pegs.. they will stay on, since I prefer a “slider / protection”. Besides, I like the finish of them, and think it suits the bike well! :)

    Mine will stay on, too! I think removing them looks cool if you choose to remove the underseat exhaust :sun:

    I love how clean it looks with them off. So much more of the pipes are exposed now :p. It looks good with them on as well. These bikes are going to look awesome no matter what.

    It's glorious :yum

    Very acceptable with the baffle in - a lovely, sonorous, low, growly, powerful sound at 98 dB.

    With the baffle out, it's (literally) double the volume at 104dB. Awesome, but not for every day and it does attract plenty of attention (small children cry and elderly people point accusingly).

    Best described using the visual guide posted on my thread:

    The stock Arrow exhaust was like THIS.
    The stock Arrow exhaust with the restrictor caps drilled out was like THIS.
    The AR exhaust with baffle in is like THIS.
    The AR exhaust with baffle out is like THIS.

    I thought about keeping the pegs on for "protection" but in the end, if I accidentally tipped her over and scratched the pegs, my OCD would kick in and I'd buy new replacements. The pegs are nearly as much as an aftermarket exhaust, so why bother, go for looks, right?

    That's my 2 cents anyway.
