On Monday I left with a friend of mine for a 2-day tour our province and we rode to the city of Graz in the province of Styria only via small and narrow streets.
He came with his Honda X-ADV. It's equipped with a 750 ccm motor with 58 HP.
After 4 hours and 300 km we arrived there in our accommodation and went into the old town by foot.
There we made a short sight seeing tour and tasted some local food and a very special kind of ice-cream. In a Vespa-Store we found some interesting, never seen models. After nearly 25 km on foot we arrived back in our accommodation with "hot" feet. The temperatures were about 30-33 degree Celsius. On the next day we started at 0700 and rode further to the south to the province Carinthia. Again only on small streets in wonderful a landscape and very warm temperatures. After another 420 km we arrived at home again.
In the following some impressions of our tour.

A very special ice-cream called "Banzana Split". Ingredients: 3 kinds of ice-cream, one banana, cream and three Austrian types of sweets and some toppings. It tasted great!:yum

Looks good @Markus and nice pictures.

The grey wall on the "staircase" picture looks at a bizarre angle or is that camera trickery?

@Markus - Graz is a place I want to visit and hopefully probably will this year. I’m also wanting to visit the small towns on the north east to south east of Austria which are not on the tourists radar. The Vespa shop looks interesting btw.

@Tigcraft: If you need some local hints for your journey, just come up with your questions. ;)

What a beautiful place, @Markus! Thanks for sharing the photos and impressions. I particularly like the architecture, all the scooters, and the LIZARD! :)

We will start with how many Friedhofen are there in Steiermark for now , or more accurately Bruck an der Mur? I want to track my mothers relatives from before the war.
