OK I know it's a Triumph forum not a bloody Suzuki forum, that said I thought that you might like to see a few of the pics I took. To be fair the event isn't brilliant, the weather was playing it's part too, Torrential rain. high winds, and the occasional passing monsoon. Still it is summer so you've got to expect it haven't you.
    1st up Steve Parrish.

I must admit to liking the new 1050, apart from that barn door exhaust, hopefully going to have a ride on it tomorrow.

Must admit, it does look rather nice. The new 1050 that is. I'm not averse to a Suzuki personally. :D

I've always had Suzuki's, I think I was heavily influenced in that direction by Barry Sheene. :)

Talking of which, have you seen the GT750 that Milly and Cole are putting together ? I think that is my favourite Suzy road bike.

Where the hell did you get that from. Never heard of that, sounds good on headphones mind. Oh for the return of the glorious sound and smell of the 2 stroke motor. y115.gif y115.gif

It came through the post one day from Suzuki GB. I'd bought a brand new T250R on HP as I'd got a job in Manchester working shifts and needed reliable transport. I must have been about eighteen or so. My ageing CB450 was getting a bit unreliable.

It's amazing just how much our, "old bikes", fetch these days.

I had an original GPz1100 which I paid about £1800 for. Seen them now for over 20grand!

If only we all had crystal balls back then. My favourite Jap bike of all time has been, and probably always will be, the Z900 in these colours. To my eye, this bike has never been surpassed in the looks department. It just fits everything I like in a bike. kiss.gif For the interest of clarity, the love heart is for the bike Dawsy, and sadly not for you. Laughing.gif

Back in the day, 1990's, I had a Kawasaki KR1S in the green white and blue colours with yellow number boards.
I decided to sell it before I blew it up or crashed it. Memory says around £1500 yet the last one I saw at auction went to £7500 and didn't make the reserve

Well I've come back for round 2. A lot more people here today than yesterday. Here's a few more pictures. Phone pictures, so quality, not great.

Test rode, or rather test raced this. Why do the escorts always want to show you how fast they can go. Nice and comfortable, and no wind at all getting to you behind that screen.

    Love that TFT screen
