Do Triumph do proper work shop manuals for all their bikes? Not the owners manual.

I'm due to get my new T120 some time in August and while I might let them have it for the 500 mile service I'm not planning on paying anyone stupid money for all the routine servicing after that.

Thanks for the quick reply. As you say, will be a while before it would be needed

Yes they do. They cost about £80 direct from Triumph but can be purchased online much cheaper. I got a T100 official workshop manual for about $60.

Not sure Jez. I was trying to remember where I bought my T100 manual from, so I could provide the details, but haven't found them yet

Hi , as regards Workshop Manuals I have quite a few From 1945-75 and parts lists too, and a letter from Darren Poulter who was in charge of Merchandise at Triumph Hinckley a short while ago, allowing the free movement of these manuals , as long as they were free to pass on, I also have some of my own on the same basis:)

Not that I've got anything against Garages but at£50+ an hour its better value if we can help each other:)

There will still be best part of 1/2 a litre left in there. if you rock the bike 45degrees either side of vertical you may get a bit more out but that's the best you can do. There are lots of galleries that hold the oil.

I've always done my own servicing and have all the gear to do it and would echo the above comments. Why pay someone to do a job they may or may not do well, when I enjoy doing it myself and know it's getting done correctly. I've got a 48K service coming up on my FJR1300 which I'll do over a day or two. Spoke to a dealer about valve clearances prior to doing 24k service and was told not to bother checking clearances as "they never go out". I ignored and found 3 of the shims required changing.
