And sadly, rather predictable. Anyone going that fast on that circuit is pushing their luck way beyond reasonable. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
The thing is Dave you don’t have to be going that fast to meet your maker on a roads circuit especially any of the ones on the IOM.
Really sad to see another young life lost, RIP. I fear that unfortunately it won't be the last.........
I was incredibly saddened to see the news of Daley's fatal accident. My heart goes out to his family, particularly his wife and child. I was also absolutely stunned to see how many deaths have occurred on the Isle of Man course over the years. Tragic. June 4,2019 www.foxnews.com Motorcycle racer Daley Mathison becomes 259th killed on world's deadliest race course
A young life, tragically taken prematurely, it must be so hard for those close to riders at the TT in the knowledge that any moment could be their last, RIP Daley and strength to his nearest and dearest.
was there watching when the race was stopped always knew it was going to be bad ,took a long time to get news thru as to how bad and who it was ,as we rode back from ginger hall to Douglas we approached the seen only to see some twat taking photos of the crash scene on his mobile ,FFS what the fuck is wrong with people
It's like all the scumbags who take pictures of motorway accidents. There will always be ghouls. I have the greatest respect for these racers. It's the same spirit that has pushed mankind to climb mountains, explore space and try things new. My sympathies to his family.
I, too, have had that exact same conversation with my family and a number of my non-riding friends. The riding friends get it and (mostly) agree.
Understand what your saying Billy, but I try not to have those negative thoughts. Keep it positive, just know the risk are real.....
