this may be because this is my first triumph but my bike sounds like a printer when i start it up it whirs and cliicks like a computer, any insight would be appreciated.

  2. What bike ?
Is it fuel injected ? if it is, it's more than likely just the EFI sysytem priming itself before you fire it up.
If it's not fuel injected, try adding more paper :upyeah:

Yep all the fuel injected bikes sound a little like an old style modem, just the fuel system priming.

2004 daytona 600 , yes its fuel injected ,so if the fuel system is priming then the fuel pump should beworking ? cause i am having trouble getting the bike to stay running . i just bought the bike for 1400 bucks and at first i thought it was a relay so i changed it but still no go .it will start up with some ether butthen it dies right away,. so i pulled the fuel pump and put direct power and it worked but when i put it back on the bike it didnt, my next step was to hook adirect switch to it any ideas?

Has the tank been off ??? the fuel hose has a habit of being kinked when the tank is put back on and therefore no fuel can get through
