    Hi All
I'm contemplating when Tommy 2 (Sprint GT) comes properly out of hibernation, I need to fit a chain oiler.
I had a ScottOiler eSystem on Tommy 1 (Sprint ST), which was great, but the display was fiddly to fit and the electronics became dodgy just when I sold it.
I'm still looking at Scott, but maybe the new xSystem with a bluetooth connection and no permanent display, so everything just tucks nicely under the seat.
The difference in operation is the eSystem is pumped while the xSystem is a solenoid valve.

Anyone got experience of the xSystem?
    Cheers
    Pete

No experience of the X system I'm afraid. The only complete chain oiler I've ever bought is a ChainTec, over 30yrs ago and I still have it. They stopped making them donkeys years ago but I scratch built the last two I used on the Scramblers. Seriously, you can make one for around £10-£15. It's just a small reservoir, a solenoid valve with on/off switch or motion sensor and some plastic tubing. No pump involved, just gravity feed, nothing more reliable than gravity. Bluetooth on a chain oiler? Eh??

I’ve only ever had the Vsystem oiler but found the sport version with smaller reservoir better on the fireblades. The standard one was fine on the Daytona and now on the tiger
