Just got my admission date for my knee replacement opp for 3rd July cant ride/drive for six weeks after bricking it TBH as i dont like hospitals at the best of times and never had a major operation.
Well the timing isn't great being in the middle of 'summer' (read warmer rain!), but they do these operations all the time so are as near to routine as can be, so count backwards from 10 (bet you don't get past 6) and when you wake up it will all be over.
Guy I work with had it done a year ago, says its like a new knee. He showed me the scar a couple of weeks after getting it done, and by then it was almost completely healed.
Had my left knee replaced 6 years ago, tried to drive the car after 3 weeks but it wasn`t safe, rode the T100 after 5 weeks had to lower foot rests to make it more comfy, The best advice that I can give is to start bending your knee asap. Geoff
