    Hello Gent's,

Not been on here for a while. I want advice on fitting waterproofed inline plugs to the front indicator cables of my 2006 Thruxton.

I have a Norman Hyde fairing fitted, when this was done the cables were just wired straight through.

The problem now is if I'm going to have to renew a headlamp I need to remove the fairing, which is straight forward, however the cables will need severing.

What I want to fit is a plug on either side.......the choices online are vast.....a lot of which appear to be cheap looking parts coming out of China.

Can anyone recommend a reliable plug/connector, please?

    Cheers,

    Chappy.

Yep, I used those as well on various off-roading Discoverys. Wading to over 1 mtr and no trouble at all.

I'll third that, used them in industrial use on some of our CCTV gear that was used in a very wet atmosphere, (not submerged but loads of condensation) when I was a wage slave. Never had a failure.
