Has anyone tried waterless radiator coolant on the recent Bonneville twins.
It's supposed to be anti corrosive, doesn't freeze and doesn't suffer from over temperature either (doesn't boil), which all sounds too good to be true! I know its used on some high performance and new cars etc. but no info on water cooled motorbike engines!
Thinking about giving it a try on my 2016, T120 but would like to know more about it first?
    Cheers

Water is a very good coolant as it can go thru a phase change from liquid to vapor that absorbs an incredible amount of heat doing so temporarily at hot spots that can do damage. DD is on the right track reducing surface tension of the coolant makes much smaller vapor bubbles with less surface tension and less "grip" on the overheated surface/part so the are easily swept off of the the surface by the fluid movement. Believe or not this is the primary purpose of All ordinary soaps/detergents to kill surface tension so particles can easily be washed away.

Not sure if this is along the same lines, my bike came with Blue Ice coolant in the system which is supposed to help it run cooler for racing. But ACU rules stipulate that you can't use coolant, only water, reason is coolant just as slippery as oil if dumped on the track but is much more difficult to see & therefore clear up.

Well this is all very interesting stuff, but it also makes me nervous about using it on my bike!
Has anyone used it on any other bikes?
T120 naturally runs hot and the waterless coolant spec's sound good for that, but practical experience counts for more with me.
    Thanks again guys.

I have waterless coolant in both my zrx1100 and Daytona 900 t300, both run fine. Have heard that some complain of the fan constantly running, as the coolant runs hotter. Not cheep as you need the prep fluid first to get rid of any water left in the system. On the plus side it is ment to be fit and forget, one less thing I don't have to feel guilty about not doing.
