    did you know if you fit the comfort seat, your seat cowl won't fit over it

    Hi Dougie.
    I was out with wasp on Saturday. He has the very same bike but with a gel seat. I'm sure he had the cowl on his. I'll look at a photo. Cheers

    was that the Triumph comfort seat Anthony? if it was i was told the cowl wouldn't fit mine (2014 model) maybe they have changed the seat slightly on the newer ones for it to fit

    I have just looked at some video footage of when wasp and myself were out for a ride and he has most definately got his seat cowl on.
    Ill double, double check with Triumph before a purchase as like you say, there may be more than one type

    Spoke with Youles triumph, from where i bought the bike, they double checked and said yes, the cowl willfit back on with the comfort gel seat..... needless to say, i ordered one.

    That's good Anthony,i might just double check incase i got the wrong info about my bike,although I'm finding the standard seat pretty comfy even on long runs

    If memory serves me right, there is a gel seat (which is basically the same as standard, but with gel padding instead of foam) and a comfort seat (which is a higher profile due to greater amounts of seat filler material). So two different seat units i believe... certainly was the case with my Street.
