pig (if we may call you that) that's an awesome reason for the name and a fantastic plate also for that reason :upyeah: Nothing as elaborate or as special for me I'm afraid, Jim being an abreviation of James, I've always been lazy so saves me the extra two letters, and Diesel because..... Erm I don't really know, stems back to when me n a few mates used to mess about pretending to be 'Voice Over Man' I.e 'This summer..... Jim Diesel is.... Getting out on his bike!! Be afraid... Be very afraid...' Which reminds me of a funny video I can post in the 'funny video' thread of voice over man.... Lmao I know I'm a knob.... Thanks
Sorry but no story to my user name, Richard is my real name and H is the first letter of my surname; boring I know
 My name came from the result of riding jap bikes in the 1970,s with trousers that had very wide bottoms! and I mean shoe end
I remember those days of RD's, GT's & KH250's, protective clothing was a leather jacket, trainers & 28" bottoms on yer 'loon' pants. Dire Straits, Gerry Rafferty, & Thin Lizzy on the Jukebox. Looking forward to the Classic Bike Show. Oh & my name, I took early retirement a few years ago, having had enough of all the crap. I've got a part time job now, only 13 hours a week, but it does get in the way of me timewasting activities. It's a name my wife occasionally calls me, usually when there's some DIY I'm avoiding
Lovely story mate, a similar story with my Dad, he got me into bikes at 16 years old and I've been hooked since.....to the point I now have my own shop!!! Sorry to hear he passed and I'm sure he's with you every moment. :upyeah:
No reason for mine.. Did not want to use my initials as boring.. My name is John... Have used Screwball on a few forums before and it's kinda stuck.... That and it's better than pisshead...
Mine is because I've usually got my collar turned up, goaty and bald head so I look like Ming the Merciless. Ming.....:upyeah:
When I was at school we were in a band and we had to choose stage names. Due to my Irish heritage Eamon Laser was thought to be a suitable choice. When they invented the internet it seemed appropriate!
erm.... no prizes for guessing  i just fancied a change from the usual name i have on forums and thought i would be simple and straight to the point instead
Kradser is danish for scratcher, sort of. I was called scratcher back in the days. I had a mildly tuned 900 honda, I bought a race exhaust, as you do. The guy said I wouldnt be able to ground it. So I spent the next few months flying around worcester and the surrounding countryside until I did. The name came because I was so proud of the scratches on the exhaust....
