Urgent help needed forum?

I've just seen a post in the technical help section from Bob who's stranded in mountains far from anywhere.

I can't help him but someone might be able to but never checks new forum posts (like me). Ias thinking maybe a forum to post urgent requests (like Bob's) might be an idea. If it was there it's something I'd check whenever I signed on if if I didn't check new posts.

I wonder if it could also be used for "I've got the bike in bits, I'm due to go away tomorrow and I can't get .... fitted" or "my wife has just left me and I can't work out whether to get Indian or Chinese tonight"?

Granted it would need folks to be sensible about what they post as you wouldn't want it getting clogged with "I can't work out how to fit ...." type of posts.

Just an idea...
