I am planning to tour Germany on my Bonneville T100 next year and would like to make the ride more comfortable for my wife by upgrading the suspension on the rear of the bike. Can anyone advise me on what is the best upgrade. I would like to be able to adjust them for the amount of weight i am carrying with all the luggage or with just my wife as pillion and no extra weight as I do a lot of journeys in England without luggage as well.

hagons 2810 or tec seem to be the popular upgrades. i have hagon 2810 on my thrux and its made a great difference, they will supply springs for your workload, as do tecs who are cheaper i beleive. many more answers will arrive

I agree with Crispey TEC or Hagons. I believe Hagon will spring your new shocks to cope with the actual loads you will be putting them to (ie 2-up with luggage). Makes a big difference that.

I went for the Hagon Nitro shocks and went through rider weights usage etc with Dave over the phone on Monday morning and got them with bespoke springs the following Wednesday.
Very happy with their performance and will be fitting their progressive fork springs when they are available

I also put Hagon Nitros on my T100 about 7 years ago. They're excellent. I also fitted Ikon progressive fork springs and a Superbrace. The ride and handling was much improved.
