Finally found time to read owners manual and it's saying 36psi front and rear on the R. After a run mine were checked and were 33psi front 42 rear. I know pressures go up a bit when warm but looks like I need to check mine again and set back to 36psi both ends unless someone tells me they found a better setup?

Hi Chris, my guess would be that the supplying garage set them at 33/42 because that's what the previous model set-up was.

Go with 36/36 and you'll not go wrong.

yeah i thought as much, it feels firm on the road hence me bothering to read the manual and look at softening the suspension a bit.

I think it will be firm no matter what you do, I fannied with the front end for a week ,and found very little difference between the two extremes in all 3 adjustments. I still find it too bobbly , even on (apparently) flat straight roads although I am used to it now. I don't mind the back-end.

Tyres better at 36psi front and rear. Still firm as you say but not tweaked it back yet to comfort settings. It's very good getting into bends!
